What is it?

Ninja Trial is a game that was created for GAM 305, a course I took at Southern New Hampshire University. The course matches students with other students in the course who have similar interests in development. Each student must pick a different role out of the following: Project Manager, Programmer, UI/UX Programmer, Artist, Level Designer. I was in the UI/UX Programmer role.

The goal for the course was to create a basic beta, but my team and I were very motivated to create as much of a complete product as possible within the 8 weeks of the course. While many group projects can be difficult to navigate, especially in undergraduate, my team and I really lucked out with each other! We worked together really well, held each other accountable, and most importantly respected everyone’s work and opinions. I even work regularly with 2 of those groupmates currently.

My role

I was the UI/UX Programmer for this project. Main tasks included: health system, shuriken count, main menu functionality, pause menu functionality, game over and game win screens.
